Fantastically fast, and ridiculously beautiful laptop computer. More than enough power to replace your desktop. 1080P videos and multiple screens are done with ease. Keyboard is very easy to use, and the backlight comes in very handy too! Plenty of power, speed and style though for even the most advanced user. For the "Prosumer"!
'My Niece loves it''

My niece going off to her first year of college needed a notebook. She wanted the MacBook Air. I have a problem with this being most work places when she graduates will be PC based. Talked her into this new XPS 15z and she loves it. She has no regrets. Small, Flat and stylish.
Did have one problem in the beginning. WIFI was dropping out. Upgraded to the updated driver and has all cleared up.

It is a quality machine and looks beautiful. It might be the nicest computer I even had. This is actually the best track pad I've ever seen on a laptop. It supports gestures, so if any of the features bother you, just disable them. It is so full of features that it will make your computer experience better if you take the time to learn it. I googled a tutorial some guy wrote and found it very useful.

I bought this laptop to replace my stolen HP HDX 16 which I must say was an excellent laptop, so my expectations were high. I have so far not been disappointed. Received my laptop yesterday, managed to get the i7 processor and 1080 full HD screen and I must say it's impressive. The look and feel of the laptop is great, design is beautiful. I personally have had no problems with the sensitivity of the touchpad like others have complained of, also the keyboard has a really nice and easy use feel. Overall all I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a powerful but portble laptop. Pros:
-Great resolution, lovely screen size
-Great design
-nice keyboard and very good size touchpad
-with the i7 processor extremely quick
Cons:
-The shiny silver trim around is quite flimsy but nothing to really worry about
- fans below the laptop get very hot when doing things like gaming, can get very hot on the old legs.Overall would definitely recommend this laptop!

This laptop is perfect. The keyboard is a little different than usual but with time I feel like it I will be able to type faster than ever. I absolutely love this computer and wouldn't trade it for anything.

This is a solid laptop, with great design, feel, and flexibility. Would definitely recommend it. A little pricy, but worth it I think. In my opinion, better than the Macbook Pro.

This is the third laptop I have owned, but the first Dell. We do use Dell at work though. I've had this laptop for a week now and really like it. It is very fast, very good looking and very light. I too had a little trouble with the cursor jumping around. This only took a couple of minutes to adjust the touch pad sensitivity and it all is fine now. I had the same issue with another laptop, but it was much worse. The visuals on the laptop are awesome. Really happy.

I love everything about this laptop! It's fast (all my games render perfectly, and I've had no trouble multitasking), drop dead gorgeous in design (very sleek-- MacBook-esque but not in a copycat way... the backlit keyboard is a nice touch), and has the perfect amount of storage and memory for the tasks I have for it. Plus, delivery time was practically instantaneous-- it was built and shipped within one business day and I got it two days after that!The quality of the product for the price you pay is fantastic. The screen has very little glare and the colors are vibrant. The aluminum casing is durable and very in vogue at the moment, too. And, of course, the other hardware (processor and graphics card, etc) work seamlessly together for a great computer experience. My only complaint is that when the processor is taxed (during gameplay, in my case), the computer gets considerably hot, despite using a chilling mat. However, for most tasks, the 15z runs like a dream... the heat isn't a dealbreaker in the slightest, given the high-definition rendering that it comes with. I do a lot of graphic-heavy web design and the XPS wasn't fazed in the slightest. Bottom line, the 15z is quite the powerhouse! Overall, I found it well worth the money in every way. The XPS 15z has beauty *and* brains. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I highly recommend it to everyone who wants a higher-end computer for a great price!

I purchased this laptop out of necessity because I will be attending college in the fall. Overall, it has been an excellent experience so far and it has proved to be a user friendly introduction to computer ownership. I have had no problem transferring files, installing programs, or downloading information which has made it a seamless transition. It handles my Photoshop programs with ease and I rarely have any issue. I recently spent a week traveling and it was no hassle at all slipping it in and out of it's bag at the airport thanks to the sleek design. The only issue I've encountered so far is loading videos and, on occasion, movies. It can be a little slow, but other than that it is fantastic.I would strongly recommend this computer to anyone looking for a stylish computer that still gets the job done.

I have been using dell for 10 years and I have used almost all kinds of Dell Laptops and PC's. I can assure Dell users that it is definitely better than a MAC. I have fought a lot with my friends who use MAC and every time i prove them to that DELL is the best. Even one of my friend he sold his MAC and bought this DELL XPS15z recently. I can just say this is the best product by DELL so far and i will strongly recommend the users to buy this Laptop because it has this 2nd generation i7 processor which will make your work done in 0. seconds instead of minutes. It has aluminum body which makes it different from all the other laptop and the benefit of an aluminim body is you can have scratches on your laptop so your laptop will look like new forever. The quality of this laptop is just freaking amazing. If you will sit on this laptop for once i assure you that you wont feel like leaving the laptop because everything is just perfect. For the Gamers it has 2GB NVIDIA graphics card which is mind blowing. At the end, the best feature of this laptop is its 3D ready omg? Has anyone ever seen a 3D ready laptop i am sure not so this laptop is overall the best of everything. So, just stop thinking and go for it.
